Test Run: Post Number One

Dear Friends and Family, 

We all thought this day would never come. My parents have done an excellent job keeping me in America so far, yet in less than a week I'll escape and be well on my way to Europe. Whatever will you do without me?!?! Realistically, life will go on, and sooner or later you'll forget that I've left Kansas City, and that I've been diligently posting in order to keep everyone updated and happy. The day before my return you'll all have to catch up on my blog and when we meet up after my trip you'll laugh and ask questions related to my blog posts, hoping that I'll be impressed that you've been reading. I'm on to you all!! 

Anyway, It's May 25th already, meaning there are merely 5 days until I leave for Chicago, and then one more until I leave for London. For those of you interested, which I'm assuming you are since you're reading my blog, my itinerary is as follows:

London    May 31st --  June 4th

Krakow   June 4th ---  June 8th

Paris        June 8th ---  June 13th 

LYON!   June 13th --  July 27th

I'll be back July 28th, at 10 in the morning, after staying the previous day in Chicago with the lovely (and generous) Emily Taft. 

Needless to say: I'm so excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
